Hello!
My name is Alyssa Naka Silver (She/They). I am a Queer Japanese Jewish actor, singer, mover, and writer. I am a NYU Tisch Drama graduate where I have studied at the Classical Studio, RADA in London, the Experimental Theatre Wing, and the Atlantic Acting School. Most recently, I was Belle in A Christmas Carol (Indiana Rep) and Uma in an AEA 29hr Showcase of Paper Brigade the Musical. Some other favorite credits include Wanda in TWUSA’s Magic School Bus AEA Tour, George/Alyssa in 4/4/4 (Edinburgh Fringe), and Jeanie in Stuy or Die (Flushing Town Hall). I am passionate about being in and creating art that my younger self sorely needed growing up, and it’s my goal to move through my art without fear of vulnerability and a focus on shared humanity. Along with being an artist, I love to cook Japanese food, read/write poetry, honor my cultures, and cry over how much I love cows.
